EX-ROANOKE COUNTY GIRL PLACES IN TRIATHALON

Brittany Semones, formerly of Roanoke County, recently came in 11th overall in her age group during the Rainbo Ironkids Triathalon in Nashville.

In June, in competition in Roanoke, Semones was first in the 10-year-old girls' category and placed first in the Junior Division for girls 7 to 12 , which earned her an all-expense paid trip to the Nashville competition. In Nashville, she was second in swimming and second in the 1k.

Semones, who attended Herman L. Horne last year, recently moved to Charlotte, N.C., with her mother Sabrina Padgett Semones. She also is the daughter of Times Semones of Baltimore, Md.
