The Rev. George Handley, a Lutheran church administrator, expects to return to the Shenandoah Valley when he retires in 1995. Because of a reporter's error, the location was wrong in a Religion brief in the Sept. 8 edition.

Because of an editing error, the times for special voter registration on Oct. 8 at the Glenvar, Hollins, Main and Vinton libraries and the Bent Mountain and Catawba fire stations were incomplete in the Sept. 8 edition. The hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
