MEN'S TENNIS TEAM TO COMPETE IN TOURNEY

The Roanoke Renegades will be competing in a national adult league tennis competition in California.

During the 1994 season, the team won the Roanoke championship, the district championship in Northern Virginia, and the sectional championship that qualified the team for the national contest.

To raise funds for the national tournament, the team is selling raffle tickets for prizes such as free meals, sports equipment and gift certificates. The drawing will be held at Rivers Edge Sports Complex in the gazebo Sept. 20 at 6 p.m.
