NHL MEETS WITH PLAYERS ASSOCIATION

The NHL and its players union met in their continuing negotiations over a contract. NHL commissioner Gary Bettman refused to say what came up, but did say what didn't.

"The issue of the rollbacks never came up," Bettman told reporters after the first bargaining session with the NHL Players Association in more than a week.
