ART WORKS GO ON AUCTION SATURDAY

The 1994 Art and More Auction will be held Saturday from 7-10 p.m. at the Art Museum of Western Virginia, Center in the Square, downtown Roanoke.

Auctioneer Timothy Luke from Christie's in New York City will solicit bids for works by local artists such as Walter Biggs and John Will Creasy and artists of national reputation such as Fritz Bultman and Rodney Alan Greenblatt. Other items include a weekend trip to Washington, D.C., with a stay at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, a weekend at the Homestead, Garth Newel tickets and many other items.

Items will be on view in a preview exhibition, and silent bid will be accepted from Tuesday through Saturday.

All proceeds benefit the education programs of the art museum.
