BLAZE AT OFFICE WAREHOUSE BLAMED ON ELECTRICAL PROBLEM

An investigator said Monday that a Saturday morning fire at a Shenandoah Avenue office warehouse complex in Roanoke no longer is being considered suspicious.

``It looks at this time like it was an electrical fire,'' Roanoke Assistant Fire Marshal Jerry Percell said. He added that a final determination of the fire's cause will be made when he gets results of tests in about two weeks.

The fire started around 4:50 a.m. in the break area of First General Services of Roanoke, where there are several electrical appliances, Percell said.

The Roanoke company is part of a network of contractors who work for insurance companies repairing homes damaged by fire and other causes.
