Because of a reporter's error, a story Monday didn't say that Friel Crigger was released on his own recognizance on Oct. 22, 1991, after being charged with abducting a Wythe County woman. He was not required to pay a $2,000 bond unless the conditions of his release were violated.

Also, one of the women Crigger attacked, Connie Seagle, did not go to her doctor's office after she was was raped. She went to the hospital with her family to be treated.

Because of a reporter's error, WDBJ-Channel 7 news reporter Joe Dashiell's name was misspelled in a Monday Extra story.
