Ivana Trump will marry her longtime squeeze, 51-year-old Riccardo Mazzucchelli, in the spring.

``Riccardo is a terrific guy,'' said Trump, 45. ``He was married 22 years the first time. He's been there. He appreciates a good relationship.''

He also has given Trump a 10-carat yellow diamond friendship ring, a vintage Rolls-Royce and, for her engagement finger, a flawless $1 mil oval Burmese sapphire with heart-shaped diamonds.

Metallica, one of the country's most popular heavy metal bands, filed a lawsuit Tuesday in California Superior Court against its record label, Elektra, seeking to end its contract with the company.

``To this day,'' said Lars Ulrich, the band's drummer, ``we're still operating under the same contract we had with those guys in 1984, and getting the same royalty rate.''

Metallica is a bit more popular now. The band has sold more than 15 million albums in the United States.

A teen-ager is suing Michael Jackson for $20 million, alleging he was struck by the pop star's van in October 1993 as Jackson fled a crowd of children outside a toy factory in Brazil.

The federal lawsuit filed Tuesday on behalf of Alberto de Paolo, 16, says Jackson promised financial help after the crash, but only gave him a toy car set.

The boy suffered a compound fracture of the thighbone, underwent three operations that cost about $20,000, and now lives with one leg an inch shorter than the other, his attorney said.
