The victory was the Cavaliers' third over the Indians this season, but Tuesday's game was much closer than the previous two.
Lord Botetourt (8-3) held a 33-32 lead after three quarters, but the 3-pointers by Moore and Plunkett and 10 fourth-quarter points from Sarah Hicks put away Blacksburg.
The Cavaliers outscored the Indians 20-7 in the final period despite missing six of 12 free throws.
Hicks finished with 26 points. Plunkett scored 10 and hit three of Lord Botetourt's five 3-pointers.
Lisa Price led Blacksburg (3-8) with 16 points and April Rogers had 12.

Carrie Chaffin scored 12 of her game-high 22 points in the first quarter to help Floyd County (10-0), Timesland's top-ranked team, take a 28-13 lead. The Buffaloes made 20 of their first 30 shots.
Leigh-Ann Pursifull had 15 points, six assists and three steals for Floyd, which came up with 18 steals as a team. Melissa Cantrell had 10 points and four steals, and Laura Harman scored 10 points.
Angie Bryson and Shellie Johnson each scored 11 points for Salem.
