MARTINSVILLE GIRLS BURY TUNSTALL 79-59

Martinsville placed four players in double figures Thursday night as the Bulldogs blasted Tunstall 79-59 in a Piedmont District girls' basketball game.

Samantha Ferguson led the Bulldogs (6-1 overall, 6-0 district) with 26 points, including four 3-pointers. The Martinsville youngsters, sophomore Erica Brandon and freshman Jamie Farrington, added 22 and 13 points, respectively.
