PULASKI - Blacksburg artist Nadine Allen will be honored with a reception Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley, 21 W. Main St. "Crosses, More Crosses," a new series of works in water media by Allen, is the new exhibit at the center's gallery. It remains on display through Oct. 27.

Computer prints
on display
CHRISTIANSBURG -The Lewis Miller Regional Art Center at Montgomery Museum has a new exhibit of original computer prints by Blacksburg artist Leslye Bloom. The exhibit, "Bloomin' Graphics: One Size Fits All," runs through Oct. 30 at the center, 300 Pepper St.
A reception for Bloom will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Regular gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Sunday, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. For more information, call the museum at 382-5644.
Campaign
offices opening
CHRISTIANSBURG - The Montgomery County Democratic campaign headquarters will open Friday, at 5 p.m. at 115 North Franklin St. Senator Madison Marye and Delegate Jim Shuler will be there to celebrate its opening. The hours are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Headquarters will also open in Blacksburg, Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the former Lyric Theater, College Avenue. An open house celebration is scheduled with U.S. Rep. Rick Boucher. The hours are Monday through Saturday, noon-6 p.m.

Both headquarters can provide information and materials supporting the campaigns of U.S. Senator Charles Robb and Boucher, who are both running for re-election.
