Because of a photographer's error, Angela Erickson was misidentified in a photo caption accompanying a Yokohama story in Thursday's paper. Erickson is the wife of a Yokohama worker.

Amplifications

A story Sept. 24 about the rankings of Western Virginia institutions in U.S. News and World Report's annual guide to colleges failed to mention that Washington and Lee University was 15th on a list of the best national liberal arts colleges.

Allen Glover of Woods, Rogers & Hazlegrove in Roanoke was listed in a report titled "Best Lawyers In America" for the specialty of public utility law. His name was omitted from an article published Sept. 21.
