HALLETT LEADS PULASKI GIRLS' WIN

Jodie Hallett scored seven of her 13 points in the fourth quarter as the Pulaski County girls' basketball team defeated Bishop-McDevitt of Wyncote, Pa., 47-44 to finish third in the BookJammin' Hoops Tournament at George Mason University.

The Cougars (3-3) outscored the Lancers 16-7 in the second quarter to take a 24-13 halftime lead. Pulaski County used a pressure defense and balanced scoring to seal the win.
