OBIT TRIBLE, LINDA KAY ANTOL
TRIBLE, Linda Kay Antol, 49, of Monroeville, Pa., died Thursday, December
30, 1993, at her brother's home in Myrtle Beach, S.C. after an extended
illness. Linda Kay was the daughter of Mary Lou and the late Ernest John
Antol, Roanoke. She graduated with honors from William Fleming High School and
James Madison University where she earned a degree in elementary education.
Linda's love of children led her to a teaching career that began at Stoney
Creek Elementary in Richmond. She also taught at West Point Elementary in West
Point, and later at Elkton Elementary in Elkton. Surviving are her mother,
Mary Lou Antol, Roanoke; a brother and sister-in-law, E. J. and Janet Antol;
and four very special nieces and nephews, Debbie, Christopher, Matthew, and
Linsey; also surviving is her maternal grandmother, Leah Wright, Richmond;
several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends at Oakey's
North Chapel Sunday, January 2, 1994, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral
mass will be held 11:15 a.m. Monday, January 3 at St. Andrew's Catholic
Church. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
