4 KILLED IN HENRY FIRE

A Ridgeway family of four was killed Saturday in a fire at their home.

Lynn Dalton, 38, and her three children had been to a service Friday night at a Floyd church, P.G. Puckett of the Henry County Sheriff's Department said. Stephanie, Crystal and Grady Gammons, ages 12, 15 and 16, and Dalton celebrated the holiday and returned to their home about 2 a.m.

By 4:30 Saturday morning, the house on October Way was engulfed, Puckett said. Firefighters found the four victims in their beds, Puckett said.

The fire, investigated by Puckett and Henry County Fire Marshal Steve Eanes, began near an electric baseboard wall heater in the kitchen.
