PHILLIPS, William W., ("Willie"), 88, of Roanoke, died Friday, December 31, 1993. He was a retired salesman with the Bluefield Shoe Co., Bluefield, W.Va. He was a member of Greene Memorial United Methodist Church and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Ester M. Phillips; stepson, Ray Parkhurst, Champaign, Ill.and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 3, 1994, in Evergreen Burial Park, with the Rev. Walter M. Lockett Jr. officiating. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
