OBIT-HARTLESS, W. OTIS

HARTLESS, W. Otis, 79, of Buena Vista died Friday, December 31, 1993, in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born September 28, 1914, in Buena Vista, the son of the late William Robert and Ollie Nuckols Hartless. Mr. Hartless was retired from Reeves Bros., a member of the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church, a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Smith Hartless. Surviving is one brother, Kyle Ray Hartless of Buena Vista. Graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 1994, at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are being handled by the Lomax Funeral Home, Buena Vista.
