McENTIRE, Evelyn J., of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of Roanoke, died
Wednesday, December 29, 1993. She was the wife of the late James Bonner
McEntire and mother of the late Susan McEntire Woodrum. She was a member of
Donelson Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Connie S.
Strickland; son, James Edward McEntire; daughter-in-law, Sandra McEntire;
sons-in-law, Wayne Strickland and Thomas Woodrum; grandchildren, Ann McEntire
Kent, Andrew McEntire, James Strickland, Michelle Davis, Jeff Davis, Benjamin,
Chadwick, Derek and Jeremy Woodrum; great-grandchildren, Dalton and Marc Kent,
and dear friends. Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Burial Park,
noon Tuesday, by the Rev. James F. Riach. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
made to Donelson Presbyterian Church, Nashville, Tenn., and to the Alive
Hospice of Nashville. Arrangements by the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
