HOWARD-OWINGS

The Reverend and Mrs. Leo VanHoward announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth, toMatthew Staige Owings, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Rapely Owings III ofMadison, Virginia.

Miss Howard is a recent graduate of Mary Baldwin College and will attend graduate school in the fall.

Mr. Owings is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute and is employed by American Health and Life Services of Roanoke.

An April wedding is planned.
