BUDDING MOVIEMAKER GETS TOOL OF THE TRADE

An 8-year-old Wythe County girl who has cerebral palsy got a video camera for Christmas, thanks to a project of two businesses called the Christmas Dream.

Elizabeth Fields of Wytheville, who has used a wheelchair all her life, is in the third grade at Spiller Elementary School, where she has a straight-A average. Premier Bank and WYVE Radio raised money for her gift through the sale of Christmas ornaments with the help of the Wytheville Rose's Store, where the recorder was purchased. Elizabeth is the daughter of George and Cindy Fields.
