OBIT-TERRY, ANNIE PEARL
TERRY, Annie Pearl, 81, of Lexington, died Sunday, January 2, 1994 at
Heritage Hall Nursing Home. Born December 21, 1912 in Rockbridge Co., she was
the daughter of the late George and Tina Jane Smith Hostetter. Mrs. Terry was
a member of Goshen Pentecostal Holiness Church and was the widow of Golden
Homer Terry Sr. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Nellie Terry Boyd.
Surviving are one daughter, Ruth T. Ramsey, Vesuvius; four sons, Robert L.
Terry, Goshen, Homer R. Terry, Buena Vista, Golden H. Terry Jr., Lexington,
and Jesse J. Terry, Lexington; one sister, Regie B. Tyree, Lexington; one
brother, Buster B. Hostetter, Lexington; 21 grandchildren; 20
great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will
be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 1994, from the Harrison Funeral
Chapel with Rev. William Strickler officiating. Burial to follow in Rockbridge
Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at
the Harrison Funeral Home.
