LEGISLATORS TO HOLD ISSUES MEETINGS

Five Democratic legislators from Southwest Virginia will hold meetings Friday and Saturday to hear citizen concerns on issues that may come before the 1994 General Assembly.

State Sen. Jack Reasor, D-Bluefield, and Del. Thomas Jackson, D-Hillsville, will be in the Wythe County General District Courtroom on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.

They will be at the Bland County Courtroom starting at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Jackson will join state Sen. Madison Marye, D-Shawsville; Sen. Virgil Goode, D-Rocky Mount; and Del. Roscoe Reynolds, D-Martinsville, at the Carroll County Courthouse at 10 a.m.

Jackson and Marye will move to the Galax City Council room for another meeting from noon to 1 p.m.

They will be at the Board of Supervisors room in the Grayson County Courthouse from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
