CULLER, Alvie Lee Cooper, 92, of Rocky Mount, died Sunday, January 2, 1994,
in a local nursing home. She was the widow of Ira D. Culler and was one of the
oldest members of the Rocky Mount Christian Church. Surviving are her
daughter, Sarah Ann Price, Gretna; her son and daughter-in-law, Ira Lee and
Robin H. Culler, Union Hall; six grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Price, Sarah
Christy Price, both of Gretna, Pamela C. Margolis, Boca Raton, Fla., Lisa C.
Mitchell, Greensboro, N.C., Misty L. Culler, Ira Lee Culler Jr., both of Union
Hall; one stepgrandson, Ricky L. Scott, Ferrum; two great-grandchildren, Jacob
and Daniel Margolis; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Kara and Korre Scott;
several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at the Rocky Mount Christian Church with the Rev. Glenn Clements and
Mr. Morris Law officiating. Interment will follow in High Street Cemetery. In
lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Rocky Mount Christian
Church, your local rescue squad or the charity of choice. Friends may call
after 2 p.m. Tuesday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at
Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St., Rocky Mount.
