OBIT-COOPER, KATHERINE B.
COOPER, Katherine B., 70, of Lexington, died at her home, Saturday, January
1, 1994. She was born in Falling Springs on April 23, 1923, the daughter of
the late Daniel and Josephine Miller Bannister. She is survived by two
daughters, Mary C. Massie, Lexington, Cathy A. Cooper, Staunton; five sons,
Cecil G. Cooper, Lexington, William P. Cooper, Thomas Cooper, both of
Lynchburg; Calvin Cooper, Rodney Beale, both of Baltimore, Md.; two sisters,
Marion Watts, Lexington, Myrtle King, Pittsfield, Mass.; 17 grandchildren; 12
great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 5, at 1
p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Lexington, with the Rev. Willie Butler
officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Lomax
Funeral Home.
