OBIT-OWEN, SUSIE LIKENS

OWEN, Susie Likens, 86, of Mechanicsville, formerly of Roanoke, died Saturday, January 1, 1994. She was the widow of Benjamin H. Owen and is survived by her grandchildren, Benjamin R. Meads of Mechanicsville, and Susan Webb of Richmond; great-grandchildren, Stephanie L. Meads, Cameron S. Meads, and Katherine Webb; sisters, Mary White of Christiansburg and Ruth Holmes of Roanoke; brothers, Dewey (Jake) Likens and Edison Likens, both of Roanoke. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Tuesday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by Rev. Irvin Sloan, with burial in the Owen Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
