TWA REPLACES CHAIRMAN

Trans World Airlines, which is struggling to find a stable flight path after emerging from bankruptcy protection in November, on Tuesday replaced its chairman, who had been appointed only seven months ago.

It replaced William Howard with Donald Craib Jr., a TWA board member and former chairman of the Allstate Insurance Group.
