ROSE, Howard Alfred Sr., ("Frederick"), 47, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, January 3, 1994. Survivors include one son, Howard Alfred Rose Jr., Boston, Mass.; two daughters, Rebecca Skates and Josephine Rose, both of Brookneal; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Fleming (Mary Annette) Rose, Petersburg, Robert (Betty) Rose, Seal, Ala.; two sisters, Hazel R. Page, Roanoke, Bernice Council, Keanesburg, N.J.; 4 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Arrangements by Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
