OBIT HENDERSON, DELLA WOLFE

HENDERSON, Della Wolfe, 92, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, January 4, 1994, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Mrs. Henderson was born at Mt. City, Tenn. on August 5, 1901, a daughter of the late Edward and Susan Pope Wolfe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Alexandria Henderson and a daughter, Pauline Lamb. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Helen and Bayly Bartlett, Lakeland, Fla.; two sons and daughters- in-law, Samuel A. and Eleanor Henderson, Lake City, Fla., Robert Lee and Marie Henderson, Blacksburg; two grandsons; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 1994, at McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R.E. (Dick) Bethune officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the United Parkinson Foundation, 360 West Superior Street, Chicago, Ill., 60610. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
