OBIT OLIPHANT, WILLIAM C.

OLIPHANT, William C., 78, of Christiansburg, died Tuesday, January 4, 1994, in Radford Community Hospital. A veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific, he was a retired Veterans Service Officer and a member of the San Benito Lodge #211 A.F. & A.M. in Hollister, Calif. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia D. and Donnie Barnes; one granddaughter, Suzanne Barnes, all of Christiansburg; three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services and burial will take place in Hollister, California at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
