OBIT CULLEN, MARJORIE CARMEN PATTERSON CULLEN,

CULLEN, Marjorie Carmen Patterson Cullen, 79, of Buena Vista, died January 3, 1994, in a Lexington Hospital. She was born in Buena Vista on August 9, 1914, the daughter of the late Bruce E. and Annie Hite Patterson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis A. Cullen Sr. and a daughter, Marjorie Cullen Armentrout. Surviving are one daughter, Julie Cullen Patterson and husband, Philip, Buena Vista; three sons, Lewis A. Cullen Jr. and wife, Sadie, Mt. Airy, Md.; David E. Cullen and wife, Susan, Palmyra; and William "Butch" Cullen and wife, Brenda, Buena Vista; one sister, Vada Patterson Stuart, Lexington; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at the Lomax Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Robert Hawkins. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
