WINTER SCHOOLING HORSE SHOWS

The winter schooling horse shows at the New River Valley Horse Center will be held Saturdays, Jan. 8, Feb. 12 and 26, and March 12 and 26. Snow dates are the following Saturdays. Participants and spectators should call the center at 382-9400 if there is a question about the snow situation.

These shows are for beginning riders. Each show class costs $5 per entry, and there are more than 30 class categories.

The horse center is located at the end of Flanagan Drive off Virginia 8 next to Interstate 81 in Christiansburg.
