FLOYD COUNTY WOMAN DIES IN CRASH IN S. KOREA

A U.S. Army sergeant from Floyd County was killed Dec. 30 in South Korea when the military truck she was riding in rolled over an embankment, the result of a two-vehicle crash.

Kathy Elaine Huff, 28, was stationed at Camp Casey in South Korea. A family member said Huff was training the driver of the 5-ton truck when the wreck occurred on icy roads.

Huff, a graduate of Floyd County High School, entered the Army in 1987.
