OBIT HIGHT, RUTH THOMASSON

HIGHT, Ruth Thomasson, 77, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, January 5, 1994, in a local nursing home. She was a retired office manager for United Iron & Metal. Mrs. Hight was the widow of Wyly Edward Hight. For those preferring to make memorials, it has been suggested that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, 404 8th St., N.E. Suite c., Charlottesville, Va. 22902. A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
