OBIT STUMP, THOMAS
STUMP, Thomas, ("Grayson"), 70, of Roanoke County, died Sunday, January 2,
1994, in a local hospital. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a
member of the V.F.W. and D.A.V., the American Legion, and the Purple Heart
Association, and also a member of Vinton Moose Lodge. Mr. Stump was a retired
self-employed electrician. He is survived by his mother, Eliza Bell Stump,
Roanoke County; daughter, Judy Rose Francis, Witchita, Kansas; sister,
Gearldine Gregory, Roanoke; three grandchildren, Michael, Shannon, and Erin
Francis, all of Kansas. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel,
3 p.m., Thursday. Interment with military rites will follow in Old Dominion
Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
