OBIT SINK, HARDEN BUTLER

SINK, Harden Butler, 79, of Route 4, Box 400, Rocky Mount, died Tuesday, January 4, 1994, in Franklin Memorial Hospital. He was born January 25, 1914, son of the late John R. and Martha Overvelt Sink. He was a retired farmer and lived all his life in Franklin County. He is survived by his wife, Cora Hall Sink of the home; one son, Andrew ("Jiggs") Sink of Rocky Mount; one daughter-in-law, Shirley Sink of Rocky Mount; one foster daughter, Maggie Robertson of Bassett; one son-in-law, David Robertson of Bassett; one sister, Emma S. Boitnott of Boones Mill; 7 grandchildren, Mildred, Wayne, Bryan, Marsha Sink, and Wesley and Jerry Robertson, Becky Davis; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 6, 1994, 2 p.m., at Lynch Funeral Home Chapel in Rocky Mount. Interment will follow in the Brown Family Cemetery on State road 737. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Home in Rocky Mount.
