OBIT RIDER, JULIA MARIE

RIDER, Julia Marie, 93, of 975 Tazewell Street, Wytheville, died Tuesday, January 4, 1994, at her residence. She was a retired Wythe County School teacher. The daughter of the late C. N. and Mary Jane Catron Rider. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Newton Rider Jr. and James Wesley Rider and two sisters, Ann Rider, and Lottie Maynor. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, and is survived by three great-nephews, and several cousins. Funeral service will be Friday, January 7, 1994, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Grubb Funeral Home conducted by Pastor Roger Kluttz with the interment to follow in the East End Cemetery. Friends may call at the Grubb Funeral Home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. The Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
