OBIT HEAD, LENA M.

HEAD, Lena M., 87, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, January 6, 1994, in a local hospital. She was the widow of Claude F. Head. Surviving are three daughters, Lorraine Branum, Dayton, Va., Evelyn Wine and Claudia Gould, both of Roanoke; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Paul Carrier, Bridgewater, Norris Carrier, New Market. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, at Johnson's Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Va. Interment will follow in Ottobine Cemetery, Dayton, Va. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Johnson's Funeral Home.
