OBIT KING, MORGAN

KING, Morgan, ("Preacher"), 82, of Bent Mountain, died Wednesday, January 5, 1994. He is survived by his wife, Ruby C. King; children, Herman and Betty King Walters, Bentley and Cynthia King, Lynda King Sherrill, Robert and Frances King Wood; grandchildren, David Wayne Walters, Daniel Lee Walters, Joseph Morgan Walters, Georgiann King, Tonya Dawn King, and Coral Dee Wood; a sister and brother-in-law, Ercil and Irvin Wickham. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel 1 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Gary Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the King Cemetery, Roanoke County. Memorials may be made to the Bent Mountain Rescue Squad, and Mount Union Church of the Brethren. Friends may call at Oakey's South Chapel.
