OBIT SARONY, CAMPBELL OTTO

SARONY, Campbell Otto, 85, of 1100 Scott Alan Circle, Blacksburg, died Wednesday night, January 5, 1994, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. Born in Norfolk, Va., in 1908, Mr. Campbell resided in Pittsburgh, Pa., Batavia, N.Y., Winter Park and Melbourne, Fla., where he was employed with Commercial Credit Corp. and the Orlando Sentinel-Star. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Mattingly Campbell; his sisters, Jeanette Campbell Maynard, Kathleen Campbell Gregory; his mother, Lollie Virginia Ironmonger Campbell. He is survived by his daughter, Leigh Campbell Garrison, Blacksburg; his cousin, John Campbell Ogeltree, Norfolk; his niece, Mariana Gregory, Los Angeles, Calif.; numerous friends. Memorial service will be held in Blacksburg at a later date. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
