OBIT DIAMOND, ROBERT SAMUEL

DIAMOND, Robert Samuel, 33, of Natural Bridge, died at his residence, Wednesday, January 5, 1994. He was born in Lexington on October 7, 1960, the son of Samuel Loyd Diamond of Natural Bridge and the late Geneva Gloria Watts. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Natural Bridge. In addition to his father, he is survived by three sisters, Mercedes H. Tyree and Lucy Ann H. Cooke, both of Maryland, and Dorine D. Weaver, Natural Bridge; four brothers, Phillip Lloyd Diamond, Falls Church, Charles G. Hubbard, Glasgow, James L. Hubbard, Alexandria, and Patrick M. Proctor, Richmond; maternal grandmother, Mary B. Watts, Natural Bridge; 16 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. J.J. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Diamond Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Lomax Funeral Home.
