OBIT VAUGHAN, MARIE SINK
VAUGHAN, Marie Sink, 86, of Lynchburg, formerly of Roanoke, died Tuesday,
January 4, 1994. She was the widow of Randolph Whitfield Vaughan, was a member
of Timberlake United Methodist Church and was a former member of Raleigh Court
United Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Carol Vaughan Speight of
Lynchburg; a son, Frederick Randolph Vaughan of Powell, Ohio; seven
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Catherine Sink of Roanoke;
brother, Robert E. Sink of Lakeland, Fla. Funeral services will be at Oakey's
Roanoke Chapel 1:30 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Jim Tongue officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends
from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
