AUTHOR TO SPEAK AT NEWCOMERS MEETING
Ann Goethe, author of "Midnight Lemonade," will be reading from her work
and talking about her experiences at the Blacksburg Newcomers' January meeting
Tuesday. The group meets at 9:30 a.m. at Luther Lutheran Memorial Church at
Toms Creek and Prices Fork roads for coffee, socializing and hearing Goethe; a
birthday salad luncheon will follow. The organization is open to anyone who
has resided in Blacksburg three years or less. Child care is available.
