COCHRAN, Lucy D., 93, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, January 6, 1994.
Mrs. Cochran was a retired government employee. She was a member of First
Baptist Church and was the widow of Frank Cochran. Surviving are her daughter
and son-in-law, Gwen and Bill Rutherford, Fincastle; sons and
daughters-in-law, Frank and Emma Jean Cochran, Richardson, Texas, John and
Mable Cochran, Roanoke; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. In
lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the First
Baptist Church Library or the City Rescue Mission. Funeral services will be
conducted Monday, January 10, 1994, 10:30 a.m. at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel by
Dr. Charles G. Fuller. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.
Sunday at Oakey's Roanoke.
