OBIT KOONTZ, ISABELLE HESTER

KOONTZ, Isabelle Hester, 94 of Roanoke, died Friday, January 7, 1994. Mrs. Koontz was a member of Raleigh Court United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Sullins College, Bristol, Va. She was the widow of Robert Melvin Koontz. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Claudine Koontz, Roanoke Co.; two grandsons and their wives, David and Sharon Koontz, Charlotte, N.C., Mart and Sandy Koontz, Richmond; two granddaughters and their husbands, Cathy and Ric Heinemann, Roanoke, Mary and Todd VanHoose, Alexandria; four great-grandchildren; a niece, Lois Schwoerer, Chevy Chase, Md. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel, Saturday, January 8, 1994, 3 p.m. with Dr. Gregory L. Adkins officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park. Oakey's South Chapel is handling the arrangements.
