OBIT YOUNG, CLINTON CLYDE

YOUNG, Clinton Clyde, ("Jimmy") 71, of Salem, died Thursday, January 6, 1994. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II serving in the Pacific. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn M. Young; sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Debbie Young, Jerry and Carol Young; three grandchildren, Robert, Melissa, Jamie Young; sisters, Blanche Young, Bessie Duffy, Lolene Proffett, Fern Eddins; sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marie and James Shealor, Curtis Moran. Funeral services will be held noon Saturday, January 8, 1994, at John M. Oakeys & Son Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, with the Rev. Paige Young and Rev. Ronnie Young officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Center of Southwest Virginia, Belleview at Jefferson St., Roanoke.
