OBIT TROUTT, ALICE SHEPHERD

TROUTT, Alice Shepherd, 62, of Christiansburg, died Friday morning, January 7, 1994 in a Roanoke hospital. She is survived by her husband, Robert Nelson Troutt; five sons, James Robert Troutt, Harry Edward Troutt, Luther Clarence Troutt, all of Christiansburg, Frank Nelson Troutt, Ky., Dorsey Dewayne Troutt, Floyd; one daughter, Irene Deloris Slusher, Floyd; a foster daughter, Rita Kay Dennis, Christiansburg; a brother, Walter Shepherd, Blacksburg; a sister, Creola Sarver, Blacksburg; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 1 p.m. Sunday from the Richardson-Horne Chapel conducted by the Rev. Sam Hancock with burial in Sunset Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday afternoon at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home and the family will receive friends there from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
