Herbert and Nina Blankenship, of Roanoke, would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Ann Blankenship, to Brian Scott Wright, son of Raymond and Gloria (PeeWee) Wright, of Moneta. Miss Blankenship graduated from William Fleming High School, attends Va. Western Community College, and is employed by Orkand Corp. Mr. Wright graduated from Staunton River High School and is owner of Scott's Restaurant.

The wedding is planned for May 14, 1994.
