Pulaski County's Susan Rudisell won the girl's high-jump competition by clearing 5 feet. Pulaski County's Jennifer Pohlig finished fifth in the girl's 1,600-meter run, clocking a time of 5 minutes, 40.7 seconds.
Andra Beasley of Christiansburg placed third in the boy's long jump with a leap of 20 feet, 4 inches and finished fifth in the triple jump at 41-9.
Patrick Henry's won the boys' and girls' competitions at the Heritage Relays in Lynchburg.
The boys were led by Larry Jones and Adrian Moore, who helped the Patriots beat second-place William Fleming in an 11-team field. Jones and Moore were part of five first-place relay teams - the long-jump relay, the triple-jump relay, the high-jump relay, the shuttle-hurdles relay, and the mile run relay.
The girls were led by Meredith Bowden and Arminta Crosby, who led the Patriots to a victory over E.C. Glass. Bowden and Crosby were part of four second-place relay teams.
William Fleming's Andrew Roberson was on second-place teams in the boys' shuttle-hurdle and mile relays.
