OBIT-HARRELL, WALTER ANDREW

HARRELL, Walter Andrew, 68, of Woodbridge, formerly of Giles County, died Thursday, January 6, 1994 in Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge. Born in Giles County, he was a son of the late John Crockett and Verna Sue Fink Harrell. Mr. Harrell was a veteran of the U.S. Army, World War II and was retired from employment with the Prince William County School System, and was a member of Coles District Fire Club in Prince William County. Surviving are his wife, Imogene Bivens Harrell; his son, John Andrew Harrell of Falls Church; two sisters, Lillian Link of Pembroke, Frances Fisher of Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 10, 1994 at 1 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel at Pembroke. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6 to 9 and at other times at the home of his sister-in-law, Etta Meadows in Ingram Village at Pearisburg.
