CPAS WILL ANSWER YOUR TAX QUESTIONS

Are you mystified by how tax law may affect your special situation? Do you find some of the instructions for completing the income-tax return so confusing you're not sure where to begin?

For the second year, a group of eight Roanoke certified public accountants will answer tax questions from readers of the Roanoke Times & World-News. The feature is coordinated through the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and will be published each Monday on the Money Page between early February and mid-April.

The eight area CPAs who have volunteered to answer reader questions are Patrick Budd of Budd, Ammen & Co.; Terry Clem of Miller, Morgan & Co.; Melinda Chitwood and Gary Duerk of Brown, Edwards & Co.; Robert Flynn of Foti, Flynn, Lowen & Co.; Fulton Galer of McLeod & Co.; David Lucas of Lucas & Boatwright; and James Taney of Anderson & Reed.
